Nothing says summer like a round of mini-golf, a hot dog and some ice cream. For 50 years, families in Bushkill Township flocked to Mountain View Miniature Golf Course and Luncheonette to enjoy the local favorite just outside Jacobsburg State Park. New owners plan to recapture the magic with the new Mountain View Drive-In, a 3,000-square-foot restaurant that features a patio, playground, party pavilion and mini-golf course.

A detailed site study led to better arrangement of the building and golf course to allow for a larger footprint further from the road as well as an ADA-compliant course. The parking now features two distinct entrances with curbs to better define the space. Early branding work with the owner set the tone for the space and helped drive design.
Using materials to mimic stone and wood, the restaurant feels like a quaint cottage in the country. A large porch wraps the property and welcomes customers inside. The interior is bright and open with an ordering queue, seating area and arcade. The large kitchen is ready to serve hungry mini-golfers and the bathroom is conveniently located for families.
